Re: The Mormon Cosmology Conundrum
The atheist world view is faced with exactly the same problem. The universe exists... does that mean it always existed? Evidence would seem to indicate that the universe is expanding and that if we were to run the clock backwards it all ends up in one tiny, mind blowing point called a "big ban...

Re: The Mormon Cosmology Conundrum
I always thought of the idea of God being infinite is that he looks at time as we would a ruler in our hands; i.e he can see the beginning and the end, and can tell everything on the ruler itself.
Now, as to whether he/she/it is really out there, well, that's another story.

Re: The true order of prayer
Why is the true order of prayer only practiced in the temple??? Why don't LDS use the TOoP in their everyday lives? Wouldn't it seem that God would prefer those prayers rather than the standard prayers? Also, does God listen to those prayers more intently than a regular prayer? It used to be done i...

Just because a few people say it's a 2,000 year old historically accurate book written on gold plates in an unknown language, brought to the earth by god's angel, doesn't make it so. It's a 19th century piece of fiction, till you can demonstrate otherwise. Sorry. That's just the way it is. Sorry It...
