Re: Homosexuality, British study finds...

In other words, it needs to be unreasonable. You can find the idea of being a murderer wrong. You can choose to remove them from socie...

HA!!! See my point. 16 views and not one comment yet we now have another new thread on Mitt and Mormonism started by Rollo! It iseems ok these days to whip a Mormon and to make lots of noise about a Mormon politician. But if we did this to Huckabee I am sure there would be an uproar. Like it or not...

Religious tests for office are explicitly banned by the Constitution. This was done in a period of time of conflict between denominations and when there was some reason to believe that Catholics might find political direction from their Church. The only thing Muslims have going against them is some ...

It is extremely easy to have poster up at an academic conference. If you've attended them, you know that all sorts of nonsense makes it through on a fairly frequent basis. If LDS scholars were the crafty crackpots they are made out to be, one would think they would be using this to their advantage. ...
Totally different argument
Why can't you just flat say you find the argument Schmo offered to be egregiously poor? Do you see yourself as parents who can't break the illusion of a unified front?

Because god, himself, would need to be the product of long gradual evolution. Complex things don't just pop into existence (they evolve over millions of years), and god would have to be the apex of complexity. That's how I understood what Dawkins was saying, and it's a compelling argument. That is ...

Just finished watching the documentary online. Assuming that proponents of evolution were misrepresenting statements, taking things out of context, and just generally being unscrupulously partisan, I was quite disappointed (but enlightened) to discover that, indeed, ID is merely a repackaging of cr...

This is pretty funny dude. You gotta love the "everyone's stupid except me" attitude some people have, especially when they're the ones most guilty of idiocy. I'm not addressing your arguments because they are convoluted and make very little sense to normal thinking people. You can't even...

I'm not sure I agree with the notion you've been stating that increased entropy is somehow associated with "complexity". Look up Shannon entropy. Shame on abestosman for being aware of science. Let's go on using the term "complexity" like a new-age hippy uses the term "ener...
