Re: Numbers...
Interesting. Valo, does God have a dark side? Yes but I have gaps in my knowledge on this at a certain point. However, I believe it is true for at least this creation. Here is an idea that can help explain the answer. Atman is Brahman... The self, is the universal self. In certain parts of India wh...

I might be wrong ( one of my hands isn't working lol. I be typing and the hand wasn't pressing the letters lol don't worry, I know what it is, just an odd experience) but isn't there a thing about how there is supposed to be a temple within 72 hours walking distance of every member so that in the e...

This isn't ticking up or down. If you remove the outliers caused by social distancing and closing churches, it's actually consistent. They did well to achieve those figures during COVID. It's definitely nothing to write home about. But it's not the rapid decline that most anti/exMormons would wish ...

Well, I'll acknowledge that you are one of the few intelligent people on this board, and we can at least have a discussion, unlike with these other geniuses. My cognitive abilities are a flickering candle in a tornado. My noggin has been ravaged by pharmaceuticals. Sanity giveth... but it taketh aw...

Re: Face of a 75,000-year-old Neanderthal woman revealed by scientists
Huh? How can a day be defined as a day before the mechanism that we have defined as a day have even existed? Tongue twister lol. God didn't create the planet earth in the first day. A day on earth is different to days on other planets in our solar system. So when God created in his days, the time ca...

What are you referring to regarding membership ticking up? The last few years of LDS growth rate: 2016 1.59% 2017 1.47% 2018 1.21% 2019 1.54% 2020 0.60% 2021 0.85% 2022 1.17% 2023 1.49% They're basically back to before-COVID numbers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Membership_history_of_the_Church_of...

Two thoughts, first I think it very likely the leaders of the church remain convinced that it is true. People believe things like that. Why more temples? I have been puzzled by that but have had a thought. I have recently been very puzzled by peoples reaction to Peterson's attitude towards senior m...
