Never Moss is what I put on my roof every summer to kill the moss.
I'm not too far from you, and moss and algae have convinced me: entropy is green.

The obstetrician when I was born made the decision--without consulting my parents--to circumscribe me.
I'm pretty sure you mean "circumcise," right?

Re: Temple Sealings of Dead People who Were Married More than Once

Now I have a question too... If Jane and Joe were sealed in the temple in life but divorced in life and they both remarried, are they able to unseal and seal to new people? Yes. But they have to get First Presidency approval to annul the original temple sealings. I wonder how she does that since sh...

Re: Temple Sealings of Dead People who Were Married More than Once

Suppose of Jane divorced Joe, Jane went on to marry James. Then Jane died, not sealed to either Joe or James. Does the LDS church in its temples seal Jane vicariously to both Joe and James so that she can pick in the hereafter?

Re: Temple Sealings of Dead People that Were Married More than Once

In principle, (according to the handbook) a man can be sealed to more than woman, so long as only one wife is living. (A woman cannot be sealed to more than one man, ever). So it stands to reason that a deceased man can be vicariously sealed to all the women he was married to in life, providing the...

Re: SEN indulges in gossip and innuendo

DCP really does read here assiduously!! Yesterday: I recounted an episode in yesterday’s blog entry that was described to me by Karl Ricks Anderson during a 2016 filming project in Kirtland, Ohio. It was about a reprimand given by the Spirit in the Kirtland Temple, according to the man himself, to ...

Temple Sealings of Dead People who Were Married More than Once

Suppose Joe was first married to Jane, they divorced because Jane could not have children. Joe then married Jill, had three children and dies, never having been Mormon sealed to Jane or Jill. Does the LDS church do two sealings for dead Joe? One to Jane and then one to Jill so that Joe can have his ...

Re: Transgender

Our manner of speaking emphasizes, in my view over-emphasizes, gender. "You're a good boy." Is he good just as a boy, or would he also qualify in the speaker's view as a good person too? Why not just say, "you're good"? Our speech habits and patterns categorize us by gender even when the sentence ha...

Re: Eternal marriage & temple endowment handshakes, tokens, signs & passwords

From the appearance of the Book of Mormon, Mormon doctrine was that acts of salvation had to occur in the mortal sphere. I think salvation of the dead presented a problem. How can salvation occur after this life if “now is the day,” so to speak. Proxy ordinances are a work around. That’s my secular...

Re: Eternal marriage & temple endowment handshakes, tokens, signs & passwords

I've always been perplexed with two of the LDS 'church's' continued practices because of their direct conflict with Biblical scripture as well as logic/common sense given doctrine... 1. Why, if God and Christ know each of us, our hearts, our actions, our thoughts, etc., do they apparently require s...
