Re: DezNat/BYU Graduate, Shot By The FBI After Threatening To Kill Biden
You know there are lots of these angry, determined LDS guys from Arizona up through Utah and into Idaho. Especially Idaho. The Church must realize that their greatest problem is the radical right, the anti-vaxxers, the patriots within. Heresy, feminism and gays in the form of Sterling McMurrin, Soni...

They look good to me in the second photo. Of course, I'm 67 with wrinkles, joint pains, insomnia and impotence.
But at least I don't ingest orange Fanta and beef pizza.

Re: I'm Embarrassed For The Majority of Mormons That Supported Trump
To offer some olive branch, Mormon politicians seem to be a mixed bag regarding Trump. Romney and Jeff Flake stood/stand as opposition to his influence on the Republican party. But then Jason Chaffetz was a vocal Trumper and hardly a moral pillar. Anyway, the broad brush painting of Mormons on the ...

Re: The pettiness of the first presidency in a nutshell
Lavina is a fine person and a very good writer. Her compilation of ecclesiastical abuses in the LDS is vital work. Her treatment at the hands of these men is a disgrace, her forbearance in the face of it admirable. I certainly would not continue sitting in the pew week after week.

Re: Relatives of Utah family mass shooting release statement
The world's most tone-deaf obituary: Michael Orwin Haight was born on January 7, 1980 in Seattle, Washington to Robin and Brenda Haight. After his dad finished dental school in 1981, the family moved to Cedar City, Utah. In his youth, Michael loved spending time participating in city league baseball...

Re: How Much Money Has Royal Skousen Made from Mopologetics?
You're right that academic is rife with all sorts of silly projects like this, but this is slightly different in that it's being funded by a Mopologetic organization. And maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen any validation of his work from other "serious" Mormon scholars. I mean, have Givens or Ha...

"I'm unaware of any METI projects that can be construed as "Mopologetic."" When I click the link I get the title page blocked by a square asking me to input my email address and get constant updates. I don't think so. I would have to be pretty bored to wish to read Midgley complaints, But here I am reading Marcus complaint about Midgley complaint. So here we are on the go...

Re: Mormon leaks exposes vast real estate wealth
It’s clearly time for the Church to cover all missionary expenses. And not a bad idea to give a bonus at successful completion of, say, $5000 or $10,000 to help with school or prompt marriage.
