Re: Lars Nielsen's "How the Book of Mormon Came to Pass"
I know that the general (and reasonable) standard is to look for definitive ties, but for me just the existence of certain ideas within the time and area -- even amongst seemingly unrelated individuals -- is interesting to me because of my own (young) experiences with just how organically informatio...

This is about an hour away (rush hour), or 30-40 minutes good traffic, from the existing Las Vegas Temple, which is only operating at half capacity. ETA: Holy smokes, I just noticed the proposed size. This will be even bigger than the underutilized Las Vegas Temple, which is itself a massive landmark.

Additionally, according to modern science, cognitive skills begin to decline at age 45. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6551607/ My favorite thing about this isn't that the cohort groupings stop at 30, but that it shows there's a drastic and hugely significant psychosocial maturity gap...

Re: To the Owner of the Rosebud Wiki
Also, I get that everyone knows my in-real-life name. I stick with “Rosebud” because I’m going to be sharing documentation that demonstrates John’s continued efforts to cyber-harass me by doing everything he could to ensure my in-real-life name was erased from association with the legitimate work I...

Re: The Trump Criminal Case MEGATHREAD.
Looks like he violated his gag order tonight on his social media. If he's not trying to get himself fined and then possibly put in jail in the future, then he's just too stupid not to throw a fit in public. We'll see how the judge responds. From the thing Res posted upthread, it looks like the fine...

Re: It’s really easy if you stick with telling the truth
You appear to be spiraling yet again. I really hope you finally take the advice that’s been offered over (and over, and over, and over) again, to seek the help of a licensed professional. There’s no need to keep discovering new rock bottoms. This could be the last, if you choose it to be. I'm saying...

Re: Is it okay to lie to your spouse?
I’m trying to think of instances where it would be “Ok,” and I’m having some difficulty. I guess a potential metric would be if they would feel hurt, betrayed, or have their ability to trust impacted should they find out about the lie. If it’s something where they found out about the lie, and though...

Re: Russia suggests next targets could be three US states and two NATO countries
Lol. The US is almost keeping Russia's military at bay with nothing more than what's essentially surplus arms given to another country's dwindling military.
That "political scientist" was obviously just doing the propaganda jig.

Re: I could've made all of you rich
Ermmm... Novo Nordisk was pretty successful before semaglutide. How exactly do you think they financed the research and marketing for it? Lol. That said, their GLP-1 agonists (Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus) are definitely the lion's share of their current income. They've still got their insulin beat...
