Suicide whose failure God's or the Individual

Suicide is considered a sin in almost every religion. However my question is whose is really at fault when someone commits suicide, the individual or God? If we can't be tempted beyond our ability to commit the sin, isn't suicide a demonstration that God has failed his/her responsibility? A friend o...

Would this Policy end Mormon Church Attendance

If the Bishop was to have all electronic devices confiscated at the entry door of the chapel before sacrament meeting, priesthood meeting and gospel doctrine class, would attendance fall?

Oh, and no pens, pencils or paper for you old timers.

My vote is Yes.

Loyalty in the BYU football program starts at the top (link)

m A news station in Madison, Wisconsin, reported Monday that BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall applied for the Wisconsin head coaching job, but it's some of the other applicants that have gained national attention. According to an open records request obtained by WISC-TV News 3 in Madison, Mendenhall...

BYU Football NOT a Missionary tool, just a football team

w In the end, like we thought all along, the BYU football program is exactly that — a football program, not a missionary extension of the LDS Church. Missionaries preach the gospel, football players play football. Never was that more apparent than during the ugly scene the followed the Miami Beach B...

Does Monson have the Balls to be the Pope (link)

m VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis issued a blistering critique Monday of the Vatican bureaucracy that serves him, denouncing how some people lust for power at all costs, live hypocritical double lives and suffer from "spiritual Alzheimer's" that has made them forget they're supposed to be joyf...

Re: DON'T let your light so shine if you want a job (link)

This is part of the brainwashing by LDS Inc. These TBM grads are so full of their themselves, unwittingly brainwashed into thinking that Elohim will help them find employment if they reference their connection to the MLM know as LDS Inc. If I saw LDS on a resume, you can damn sure bet I would pass ...

So you're a recent college grad who just blasted your resume to a thousand employers, and none of them is calling you back?

Here's a suggestion: take religion off your resume. At least, that's what a sociologist from the University of Connecticut suggests.

Re: Joseph only married married women for a loophole

Of interesting note is the change to the tone of the Nauvoo bell. When Horny Holy Joe was alive the tone of the Nauvoo bell was a very distinct Bang! Noticeably the Nauvoo bell would ring on three distinct occasions. First as a time keeper, on the hour and half hour corresponding to the time (i.e. t...

Re: Three Nephites Newspaper Delivery Boys-in Logan UT no le

I'm pretty sure that the Three Nephites work for AAA. Most of the stories told deal with people lost in bad neighborhoods, flat tires, engines that have failed in critical moments, vehicles running out of gas, etc. All pretty standard stories from a Tow Truck driver. Triple Nephite the best roadside...
