Re: God uses war to "soften countries"??

I dropped it off here as a drive by posting for your amusement, and I'm really thrilled that it got such great responses. Kim: Sorry your feet got so sore. I would love to go visit something like that. Its a ...

For your consideration: http://www.neatorama.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/mounds-500x457.jpg It’s hard to believe there was a city in the U.S. that outnumbered any other in population, that was larger than even London at one point, that served as the biggest urban center north of Mexico – and that...

Re: engraving technique on gold plates
Oh, I guess I should add that as a sheetmetal worker you can take a sharp awl and scratch lines into sheetmetal very easily. I typically worked with 26 gauge, which by construction standards is thin, but thicker I am sure than what Mormon and Moroni worked with. Scratching and then filling in with a...

Re: engraving technique on gold plates
Does anyone have a link or quote from Elder Uchtdorf from conference a few years ago where he spoke about this?
He mentioned the Seerstone in the hat and spoke about the translation process. I just don't remember what conference it was.

Re: Should apologists be reactionary and combative?
I think we need to do a "stages of faith defence" chart.
I think when you first get into this type of thing you can be this way, but over time you calm down a little.

Re: I Want Hugs, Too!
Do we need to stay three hymn books apart for these hugs?
