Re: Bloomberg and what he brings to the mix$
I was going to take the time to deconstruct your post and reply to it point by point but about 2 questions in I realized I just couldn't be bothered. Long story short: I absolutely detest Bloomberg and am concerned by his presence in the 2020 field. I'm displeased, to say the least, that he seems to...

Re: Lessons for 2020 from 2012
Thanks for sharing the article, honor. Although I found a lot to chew on and agree with in the article I think I have a few nitpicks. This paragraph (that immediately followed some you highlighted that I think were really good) didn't quite track with me: Trump has dominated the national conversatio...

Re: Swamp Watch News
Could some kind soul please count the number of times I've used the term "constitutional crisis" and compare it with sub's use of "hair fire?" In a dominating performance the Hair Fires are able to rout the Constitutional Crises 299 to 17*. *Score tabulated using boards search f...

Re: The coronavirus spread updated in real time
Good information, Xeno. Just a little nitpick. I don't think Hubei is reporting "clinical cases" as "confirmed cases." They are reporting "clinical cases" instead of "confirmed cases." Good clarification. Probably the better way to phrase it is that the total...

Re: The coronavirus spread updated in real time
What’s the difference between a confirmed case and a clinically diagnosed case? Previously a cases were only counted as confirmed if it was identified by a testing kit they use for the disease (think how you can get a swab for Strep or the Flu), now they are also including anyone that displays all ...

Re: The coronavirus spread updated in real time
Yesterday’s numbers from Hubei province reported that new deaths doubled and new cases went up by 7x over the previous day. Apparently, that’s due to a change from reporting confirmed cases to clinically diagnosed cases. Shortage of test kits? Who knows? But it doesn’t help the pros figure out how ...

Re: Whose physical abilities would you take for 24 hours?
I would pick up ridiculously heavy things. Then, I would put those ridiculously heavy things down. I would probably pick them up again after that. This is the only correct answer. Also I'm fairly certain I can eat a gallon of chilli in one sitting already. I read this genie-wish scenario pretty lit...

Re: Whose physical abilities would you take for 24 hours?
Great googely-moogely. I think the best I ever did in my so-called prime was 515... once. This kind of stuff is absolutely mind-boggling to me. I feel that, I long ago had to move away from pushing the upper limits of my strength just to preserve my body, usually those big boys don't live super lon...

Eddie Hall. I'm more of a Larry "Wheels" Williams guy myself (personal life issues aside), still obscenely strong but more aesthetically pleasing, chalk it up to my vanity and complete inability to grow a beard . If we're going old school I'd take Arnold at his peak. Larry's 725lbs pull f...
