Re: Friday Election Updates

Even when the votes are counted there will be recounts, court challenges, and possible Trump supporter uprisings. It really depends, my feathered friend. Recounts, yes. Georgia has already said so. And Trump has a right to one in Wisconsin. And the court challenges will continue. But any uprisings ...

Re: Friday Election Updates

Ok, Maricopa County, AZ updated its totals, adding about 72k votes. Biden lead shrunk again, to 29,861. Time for some math. The SoS estimates 173K total ballots remain to be counted. What percentage of the remaining ballots does Trump need to catch Biden? Well, he needs about 30k to catch up, and an...

Re: Election Litigation Scorecard

The GOP asked the U.S. Supreme Court today to order PA to segregate the mail in ballots that arrived after Tuesday from the rest of the mail in ballots and to wait to count them until after the legal issue has been resolved. This is borderline frivolous. The PA Supreme Court already ordered the late...

Re: Thursday Election Updates

Sub, I have no control over the fact that your intellectual curiosity is a mile wide and a fraction of an inch deep. You learned enough to try and impress by typing the name of the PA Secretary of State but not enough to know even how many lawsuits have been filed naming her as a defendant. Most of ...

Re: Biden Takes Georgia; Violence on Horizon

Biden is currently ahead in Georgia, but there are about 25K of various flavors of ballot left to count. I'm also seeing some dialing back of the rhetoric, so, while there may be a few instances of violence, I'm not expecting anything widespread. Law enforcement seems to be keeping things in check....
