Re: Strongly worded SLTrib op-Ed, Utah protects 'penitent' abusers.
Part of being truly penitent would be to willingly pay the penalty for your crime against the child. Recidivism rates should be an astounding reason not to endorse clergy penitent reporting exemptions for child abusers.

Re: Backyard Professor's Talk with World Renowned Dr. Randall Bell
I think it was the Book of Abraham one. I came across it just before Christmastime, along with a music CD by Richard Abanes and his wife, and a mixed music CD that a former DM participant sent to me. I was in full apologist mode when Abanes was making his debut, so I never read anything he wrote to...

Prayer request
If anyone would want to pray for me, I would appreciate it. I’ve caught a cold and maybe that is part of it, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I miss my parents for one thing. I need some kind of change in my life, but don’t know what that would be. Maybe I just need a time of refreshing. Thank you In advance.

Re: Why the goal-setting craze of 1970?

Re: Dr. Shades's spelling and/or grammar lesson of the day
Dear participants: Please have a look at the following sentence: Comparing me to the Red Pillars is like comparing your average Mormon to Nazy Germany. ITEM #1: PILLAR: A structural column used to support weight, typically inside a large building. PILLER: Not actually a word, but meaning "one who p...

Re: Unveiling Dr. Clandestine...full circle completed
Last night I watched this episode of Mormon Stories. It really brought my journey out of Mormonism around to full circle. I am finding it hard to find a description or words of how this episode made me feel, but I feel like it removed a big piece of the scare and guilt I have from being raised in a...

Re: “Peter Pan” is Unmasked as Mike Parker
O/T Who of my in real life contemporaries could I tell, and they'd think I'm sane, that Peter Pan is unmasked as Mike Parker. Not a single one. Why are you here with those butterfly nets? Why are you wearing white? Is that a straight jacket? I've become too emmeshed in Mormonism. my sympathie...

Re: Women eventually stop caring about looks, says Dr. Grande.
I had to laugh at wearing a suit is considered more attractive than say wearing a prison jumpsuit.
