Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

Again, wrong audience. If you aren’t willing to take your evidence to the IRS, then you’re just trolling. If you have taken it to the IRS, what was the outcome? Probably you are just looking at things too narrowly because vendetta and can’t stand seeing John Dehlin do reasonably well with his niche...

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

His accountant has devised a very clever scheme to make sure he milks as much compensation from the non-profit as possible. I'm not sure why this is surprising to anyone here. John has stated on multiple occasions, publicly, that this is his goal. He sees the non-profit as his personal breadbasket....

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

Here's an apples-to-apples comparison for you. On Being is a non-profit dedicated to content "FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION AND DISCERNMENT, FOR TEACHING, FOR COMMUNAL NOURISHMENT AND CONVERSATION, AND FOR SOCIAL CONNECTION AND REPAIR." On Being is based around a podcast that was started by its CEO, Krist...

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

If, given the same platform and resources that John has been given, Lindsey Hansen Park would be even bigger than John is now. Without a doubt. She's smarter, savvier, and most of all has way more integrity. John wasn’t “given” anything. You’re a moron. No offense. I'm never offended by anything yo...

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

The CEO of NPR makes over $600k. The top 30 earners at NPR make more than John Dehlin. Is NPR a crappy NP? You think comparing Mormon Stories to NPR in terms of dollars-to-dollars executive compensation is a fair comparison? How many people does NPR employ? What's their reach? How many people does ...

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

Why do you think he is being compensated at over 200k for his ceo position? His accountant has devised a very clever scheme to make sure he milks as much compensation from the non-profit as possible. I'm not sure why this is surprising to anyone here. John has stated on multiple occasions, publicly...

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

Show your work. Quote me some NP industry reputable information that backs up your arguments or else just keep talking out of your behind. I’m not making the assertions here. You are. What is the industry standard for non-profit CEO pay, in dollars? Percent of revenue is meaningless in a competitiv...

N = 1
Applies to all “real non profits”
Such ridiculous, obsessive drivel

Re: Mormon Stories finances vs. LDS finances

I work for a large health system where the CEO wears multiple hats and has three official titles. Her compensation is still only 1.8% of total revenue. That's how real NPs do it. I’m not understanding your point. Is she compensated for her work? Is her compensation documented? Is her CEO salary wit...
