Re: Nelson reaffirms TK smoothie doctrine that gender is not eternal
Nelson's talk was horrible, but he did not affirm TK smoothie doctrine or say gender isn't eternal. I took those remarks to suggest gender bits won't work for Telestial bodies. Like, no "smoothie" but perfectly-restored, functionless decorations. Like the heart, which will also be useless in resurr...

Re: A question about Oaks talk - who suffers?
I'm curious what, In Oaks' mind, this suffering consists of. On the off chance that Mormonism is "true," then I'm headed for the telestial kingdom. And according to the Gospel of Oaks, I will need to suffer for my sins, at least for a period of time. What will this suffering be? Fire and brimstone? ...

Re: Mike Parker considered suing…well…someone, over the Richard Nygren affair…
I have spoken with two attorneys about the defamatory claims made about me. They both agreed that what these individuals have written is repulsive, . . . I'd like to talk to those two attorneys to find out what they really said about the claims made about him. Obviously, whatever the conversation w...

Given the age of the Q15, I suspect that fudging the numbers presents little problem, given how often they must be fudging their undies.

Re: To John: I'd Like Financial Compensation for Harms Done
I know this isn't anything new, but just a reminder to not sh*t where you eat.
Also, if you think it's ok to flirt with a co-worker and the he/she/they is in to you, don't fool yourself. More likely than not, that person is batsh*t crazy, and your ego won't tell you that you're not all that.

Re: To RFM; Re: Jenn Kamp
It certainly matters in a legal sense. If there is good chance that the person with power could threaten or advance the subordinate target’s career, or endanger their life, etc. then no, not necessarily. Perhaps American Law has some catching up to do, but the problem here is that greater the power...

Re: Temple stories - good, bad, funny?
1. I remember being told as a deacon prior to perhaps my first baptism for the dead temple trip that the temple was a place where there could be no temptation, because Satan and his minions could not enter. As an insecure young teen (or tween), i had long lived in guilt because I so easily succumbed...

Re: Mormon Temples give the poors a taste of the good life
Tallahassee, Florida is getting a temple, and I can tell you that it is something local LDS people did hope and pray for, as well as regularly talk about in meetings, for years. I thought it was kind of crazy of them, or at least wildly unrealistic. If I were LDS, I’d want one close by. The one for...
