Re: “Peter Pan” is Unmasked as Mike Parker

A belated happy anniversary to the post that sunk an "invaluable" blog, as DCP put it. The last post on Mike Parker's defunct blog was July 2023. Who knows what Mike would have continued spewing from his hate site had he not been unmasked. Wow the time flies by! Perhaps Parker can begin anew and af...

Re: DCP's ongoing problem with plagiarism

I think that’s his way of trying to avoid being held to account for plagiarising others content. However, despite him saying he doesn’t claim his blogs content as a publication of his, that is exactly what it is. Once you post something on your blog, you have “published” it, it’s your publication. ...

Re: DCP's ongoing problem with plagiarism

That was quick. The first paragraph below was just inserted at the beginning of Peterson's plagiarized blog entry: Some Notes On “Fine-Tuning” And The Multiverse LAST UPDATED ON: MARCH 13, 2024 AT 1:27 PM MARCH 12, 2024 BY DAN PETERSON 5 COMMENTS The following is basically a close paraphrase (for m...

Re: Logic and Dan Peterson arguments.Anoth

I’d like to see Daniel acknowledge just once that none of his pet conspiracy theories are supported by objective unbiased scholars. No non-Mormon scholar believes Hebrews sailed to the pre-Columbian Americas. No geological science scholar believes DCP can divine for water. No one floating above the...

Re: SeN on Willard Richards: "unusually bright and capable"? Or Delusional and "Obsessed"?

Richards was a close confidant of Joseph Smith, and became a practitioner of polygamy. There is indication that his first plural wife was 26-year-old Marinda Nancy Johnson Hyde, who was already married to Orson Hyde (Hyde was away on a mission at the time).[13][15] Richards returned to Richmond and...

Re: Archeological find from wrong place and time is evidence of Book of Mormon

At least according to Peterson… Cody Quirk has kindly called to my notice an article about an interesting discovery in Central America: “Archaeologists in Panama find ancient tomb filled with gold treasure — and sacrificial victims.” https://www.patheos.com/blogs/danpeterson/2024/03/oh-say-what-is-...

BYP LIVE Tonight 6 p.m.!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQctF7X373g

I'm continuing the fascinating topic of the Premortal Existence and related themes in my live tonight, and how the later Mormon leadership let go of Smith's revelation and doctrines on it to develop their own because it was too deep for them to comprehend.

Re: Should one read Blum's book on psychic research?

Ghost Hunters At the close of the 19th century, the illustrious William James led an elite scientific investigation into ghosts, mediums, telepathy and “the borderlands” between our world and others. James and his colleagues staked their reputations and careers to prove the existence of psychic phe...

Re: Gemli explains...

I've long since given up on persuading poor gemli. He is, I think, a hopeless case. Amusing how mockery and name calling is thought to be a persuading tool to DCP, and no actual engagement of topics or analysis of evidence. DCP is pouting that no one accepts his "testimony" so he pouts about it and...

Re: Re:

Nehor (one of the Church's biggest online defenders for the last 20 years) just made a very shocking admission about how miserable he is as a member of the Church. Sad. Posted Monday at 11:03 PM I am pretty miserable in the gospel. Threatening me with misery for leaving just doesn’t really work tha...
