Re: The Demise of "Dear Dan's Diary"
A little background: The satirical blog was made last week after seeing a comment from a friend on Sic et Non telling Dan, "You’re drama meter is set to 13 year old girl level." After laughing about that line with a few friends and joking that someone should turn Dan's posts into an actual...

Re: From My Informant: The "Review" is Now a Collector's Ite
Publishing is a tricky business, and until recently, neither FARMS nor the MI had anyone with publishing experience. They, understandably, overestimated what they thought would be eventually sold and have well too many books to just hand out or leave on a table somewhere. My guess is that they will ...

Why would you have to pay taxes on stuff sitting around in your office/business?

Re: From My Informant: The "Review" is Now a Collector's Ite
Considering that the Review's content will all be and stay online, it's hardly trying to hide it away. From what I gather, FARMS over-printed the Review by the thousands and was sitting on a huge inventory that they would never sell, nor be able to give away--it's not like they are hot commodities. ...

http://i.qkme.me/35ze3t.jpg ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Was this written by an eight year old? And is this million dollars adjusted for inflation? (Otherwise, Anderson is getting scraps compared to what Monson got 50 years ago) How do they keep Hales and others silent that are independently wealthy? And a...

Re: Spencer Fluhman named editor of new Mormon Studies Revie
Of course the real question is whether the Institute will still be doing ad hominem filled poor scholarship responding to obscure anti Mormon publications.

Re: Spencer Fluhman named editor of new Mormon Studies Revie
Since Bamblin spilled the beans on my appointment, they had to go with Fluhman instead.
Regardless, this is, by far, the best board of Mormon Studies scholars ever put together.

Re: WTHeck? Brigham Young Had Sex w/Married Women?
Well do you think an angel with a flaming sword really appeared before Joseph Smith and commanded him to live polygamy No. But I'm open to believing that Joseph believed an angel commanded him to and he visioned it as such. a type of polygamy not seen in the Bible, where he is even taking wives leg...
