New ideas, economic expansion, and competition are good for bludgers not workers? A strange point of view. I suppose you prefer economic stagnation, lack of new ideas and no competition as safe for workers. That could keeps them working and keep wages down.

Elizabeth, It makes sense that you would not be interested in economic stagnation. I understand that diversity may not result in economic expansion at times. I just really do not understand why diversity would be an advantage to bludgers.

There are Eternal reasons why mortals were separated by race and language.
Those who worked and developed their lands do not want nor need to be invaded by those who did not.
