About seven teens aged 13–19 die every day from motor vehicle crash injuries. Per mile driven, teen drivers aged 16–19 are nearly three times as likely as drivers aged 20 or older to be in a fatal crash.

Let's end this.

Let's abolish high capacity cars or at the very least forbid drivers under 21 from operating high capacity vehicles. A large car with a top speed of 100 mph is not necessary for anyone under the age of 21. Let's keep the kids in mind! Let's establish legislation limiting the amount of passengers a driver age 21 or younger is permitted to carry. Let's save the kids, life is valuable, driving is a privilege, not a right. No one actually needs a high capacity vehicle.

Let's make the transition to vehicles like the one above that has a top speed of 35 mph. Let's do it for the children!

HighwAMike, you should take a second look at your comments before posting them.

From the State of Utah’s rules on licensing:
Passenger limitations (resident or nonresident): you may not operate a motor vehicle upon any public roadway with any passenger who is not an immediate family member until the earlier of:

- Six (6) months from the date the license was issued; or
- The driver reaches 18 years of age.
One also cannot drive a taxi in Utah until 21 years of age.

Maybe we should consider the same sorts of age limits for certain types of firearms.
