Help wanted (Score so far related)

I was doing the first day of a 40 day Bible study tonight. I almost put it off but decided to dive in. It was one of 3 things on my Self Care Sunday list. Below a verse I was supposed to be reading was this. When I saw it, it jumped right off the page and landed on my heart.

Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. ~ Isaiah 48-11

It sure was. It wasn't even part of the study. It was the verse following the reading. It never fails to stun me when it feels like a verse was meant for me. As in that verse where it's like the Lord telling me directly that he knows what I've been through. I know it's taken out of context but considering the fact that my life has been taken out of context, it's sort of fitting. I know I'm better. Not healed but better. I'll take it!

Well done but nothing I did. I didn't do anything differently. I kept it to myself as the days and months passed and decided that 6 months was a good time to report.

You've worked your ass off. Tracking, working out what upsets your system, Doing the jobs of the professionals, cutting out foods that you enjoy. It is massive. You've done a monumental amount of work and research to get here. You looked after the boy all while hanging on in there. You have worked hard and I'm proud that you've come this far and glad you've had some respite from the afib. Fingers and toes crossed for another 6 months. <3

I am He? You will not believe it. Okay, you will. I had to go to urgent care for one issue and ended up having another issue altogether last week. Something that scared me. Hypertensive crisis.

On the wall of the examine room was the I am He verse from Isaiah 46:4.

That verse follows me around like it knows who I am. I'm better now, all corrected.
