I think, If Jersey Girl stopped posting on Sundays to help her heal and take time and finds herself feeling more able to come online it can be a good sign that she's healing and getting on top of this illness. The winky face after saying she doesn't post on a Sunday would suggest she knows it's Sunday and she's posting... Right?
I think you've taken this personally or read into it too much instead of taking it as a bit of light humour. I might be wrong because I'm not the best at understanding what people mean. Maybe it's not meant to be taken so literally.

First of all, stop coming into this or any other serious thread asking tangential questions. It's disruptive and disrespectful of the thread starter as well as participants who follow it. Not one single person who got a reply with a similar intro thought it important to question it. Kindly stop doing that on this thread.

Yes he sure did. Got there, got the haircut, made a quick trip into the grocery store (it's in the same shopping center), then drove home. It didn't seem to bother him a bit. He was tired as usual in the afternoon. That's about it.
Is also be-bopping around here with no assistive device whatsoever. Using the walker intermittently after he does his at home PT.
I knew he'd leave. Both of us are fiercely independent even from each other in most cases. He was going absolutely stir crazy here and I'm more than sure he wanted to get away from me.
He's an extrovert and I'm an introvert. I appreciated the blessed solitude.
