Not forcing. My son learns clarinet, violin and is in a choir. I just pulled them out of piano. I asked them if they want a break and they said yes. I asked them how long they wanted a break for my daughter said a year, my son said two weeks. My son also wants to learn guitar, drums, castinets, has asked for a theramin and a trombone. He has some little instruments that I don't know the names of. He is very musical minded.
My daughter won't be returning to lessons unless she asks. She has just signed up for football classes.
