Still, I will give it ago. Major William Martin of the Royal Marines. Born March 29 1907 and died April 24 1943.
Give it another go....
Again, the question is for you to prove that there is someone who
actually existed that can never be "proven" to have existed.....which is the claim that was stated and/or inferred by the likes of canpakes, DarthJ, etc...
Ooops, SubG - You are now misquoting what has been discussed.
I specifically told you that
there is a logical existence of a chain of relatives stretching back to the inception of life. What I'm asking you is how you intend to 'document' (your word, please reread your previous posts) folks for which no written records of names may exist. You essentially claim that the records necessary to perform BftD as required in the Temple actually exist for every human who has ever lived, a claim that
you may want to prove to
us, since
you are making it.
Neither have you referred me to the part of the Book of Mormon that supposedly discusses baptism for the dead, as you suggested I would find.
Neither has any rationale for the validity or need of BftD been presented, given J. Smith's proclamation regarding his brother Alvin's residence in the CK sans baptism.
Neither has any reason been given why baptisms given by 'position along the family tree' (e.g., 'Great-great-great-Grandfather' as opposed to using any particular name) could not be used, which would vastly simplify the task.
Neither has any reason been given why the spirits of all deceased relatives could not be baptised in a single dunk.
But, I am enjoying watching you move the goalposts all over the field. When you've finished, please take a stab at answering any of the above.
