Bad Rap for Mormonism

Seems like a bad rap for Mormonism to call it a "Victory for Satan". Mormonism has faults, but don't you think the victory for satan is laying it on too thick?

No wonder President Nelson is trying to camouflage the name if that is how little he regards it.

Do you think the Church should hold a contest to come up with a new short name people can use?

It’s an interesting situation. Context is everything - and context is different depending on where and when something occurs in space-time and in sequence.

For instance, moving a king to a certain square in a game of chess might be just what is needed, but moving it back to the other square 2 moves later might be what is called for at that time. So I could see the Church being called “Mormon” again at some point in the future, but right now a different name might be a better move.
