You claim to have lived in the Middle East, but demonstrate negative knowledge of the region.
You claimed I was someone, and it should be rather clear from reading the posts of Simon Belmont, that I am not he.

Your powers of discernment are clearly somewhat suspect. These are only two data points, but there seems to be little in the way of logical deduction or analysis in your commentary. 0 for 2 is hardly a good starting point.

The above post was an apparently futile attempt to demonstrate to you that a reasonable individual can alter their position accordingly when presented with new evidence - an object lesson you have yet to learn, it seems.

I suppose one could just as well claim the real problem is that I have not yet learned to stop feeding trolls.

Yes, it would be far too difficult to simply explain why you know nothing about somewhere you claimed to have lived. Complex conspiracy theories are necessary to avoid addressing the uncomfortable? You realize that compared to your predilection for the absurdly complicated explanation, a divine figure being raised from the dead is really rather tame.

As amusing as the the "Spike and Chester" routine is, seeing it played out by the two "Doctors" on this thread as well as others is sad.

I don't think so. I do not think it is a disagreement issue, it is a threat issue. Consider, what if Dr. W actually DID know something about the Middle East. I would probably not be called a troll, he would insult and demean, but this would support the overall goal of inflating his ego. It is only when the underlying ego is threatened, since Dr. W does not know anything and the intellectul deficit is available for all to see, that an automatic effort to dismiss is utilized. Dr. W spoke about Oman, he wrote about it, and now simple questions make him look completely uninformed. This is a serious threat, and admitting that he is relatively uninformed will not work, the entire point is supporting the idea that he is discerning, he is intelligent, he has a PhD, patents, big brain pan. No one touts their intelligence that much without having some serious underlying insecurity issues.

The problem is psychological, at least in my opinion.
