007,

I would describe myself as an investigator/critic. I didn't know which one to vote for so I didn't vote at all.

Although I haven't offically resigned, I consider myself an exmormon. I've been lurking this board and others for a while and decided I should finally register in order to spout off some opinions once in a while.

I'm a critic but no more so of the LDS church than any organization that attempts to control through any means it sees fit. I was going to vote exmo and then I remembered that technically I am still a Mormon. I really ought to get that taken care of.

I hope these cover all the bases.

Apologist-active defender of church

Mormon-member but just looking at the arguments/debates

Investigator-investigating Mormonism

Exmormon-exmember but just looking at arguments/debates

Critic-active critic of church

Bond

Mormon, and let me tell ya, that really PO's some people.

Hi Harmony,

I am officially an exmo and I will throw in atheist, but many of the people I love are Mormons, and one Mormon I dearly love is my wife.

It may be that there are those that are POed that anyone remains a Mormon, but I am not one of those. However, after reading Sam Harris' book "The End of Faith", I would personally vote to ban all religions. Actually, I would have voted that way before reading the book, but Sam makes the point, crystal.

Usually it's the LDS apologists that get PO'ed because I'm a Mormon, QW. And welcome to the board. :-)

Ah, welcome to the group who reject all organized religion. You of course don't have to attend meetings. Come to think of it, we don't have meetings for you not to attend. Come to think of it, there isn't a "we" to not create meetings for you not to attend.

Now I have a headache. Welcome to the board.

I am just a quiet, shy, mildly-mannered apologist who enjoys shooting down exmo arguments that are usually based on speculative proof that the LDS church is not true. I consider myself to be 'highly' rational in my counterclaims to exmormons. I am still waiting for the LDS church to proven not true, but it seems that I will have a long wait.
