So if something is found in a youtube video it must be true.

Is it your contention that the results were faked?

ETA - This is yet another example of your bad logic. Because there is nonsense on the internet, all things found on the internet are nonsense.

Kolob’s set time is “one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest” (Abraham 3:4). I take this as a round number. - Gee

No, I did not say that. Gould found jumps in the fossil record and tried to reconcile them with Darwin's theory. At least he was honest about what he saw. He was still operating under the assumptions of science so he did his best to explain what he saw. I give him credit for that. At least he was not a parrot repeating what his professors told him.

At least his theories were logical and well thought out. Unlike another scientist who thought that the fear of dinosaurs was carried down through the ages in DNA.

It is my contention that if data is tortured enough it will confess to anything.

No, this is your deflection.

The author of the video was not attempting to defend punctuated equilibrium. That feature just popped out of the simulation. I don't believe he even noticed the significance of it.

One must first master the current knowledge base and understanding before they are in a position to add to the edifice of knowledge. I am quite certain that Gould "parroted" the knowledge that the earth is in orbit about the sun.

There is more evolutionary distance between Franktalk and a scientist then between a raccoon and a whale.

Does that mean I am about to evolve into the next advanced human? If I read your interpretation of Gould's punctuated equalibrium correctly then I am actually way more advanced than you are. Maybe that is why my mind allows all of this truth to come in. Verses yours that is stuck in the stone age.
