Now James, lets be honest here. We both know why critics get banned from MAD and it certainly has nothing to do with their 'arguments'. It has more to do with their style of posting. Just take a look at our not so famous Uncle Dale. He is very much tolerated at MAD and he is a geniune critic. But he posts in a non-offensive way. And this is the key.

Also, lets now be totally honest, James. The critic arguments have more or less been refuted over there or at least, the LDS and the apologists have given credible replies. Hence, the critic retreats to this board to get some extra first aid from other critics. And that makes sense. We all need some bandaging every now and then. :=)

But those who have been banned were mainly bomb throwers and personal character asssasins. Why heck, you are still over there aren't you? And we like ya.

Well, I am glad that it will snow in your neck of the woods. Where I am, it is -25 and my world is full of snow and ice. I feel like an icicle.

I received the calling to come over here a couple of days ago. I tried to protest but I am, as you know, very obedient. :=)

Bomb throwers like truth dancer? She wouldn't hurt a fly and still got the axe of there. What was the reason for her banning?

I'm over there, but the Sword of Damocles is hanging over my head.

Well, here it is...I have been told this is the "new and improved exmo board" -- thank you "harry".... so I came to find out what is going on. I registered some time ago and promptly misplaced my password. argh...

I consider myself a former Mormon, former Christian, former Spiritualist, but interested in lots of ideas that would fit my new and improved post Mormon world view. I like to attend a local Spiritualist church sometimed, as it is so unusual and fun.
I like the term: "Eccentric Eclectic" for myself.

I don't remember her case, but I do remember that she was perhaps getting to glib with her responses. Or maybe she hooked up briefly with a bad crowd and got thrown out with the rest. Now James, that can happen and this is why the LDS church may caution against befriending bad influences. Truth dancer may be an example of this. But what do I know?

As long as you keep it civil and respectful, you should be around a long time. For after all, you are James.....James Bond. :=)

Beware the power of the dark side. :breath::breath:

I never liked the "guilt by association" way of thinking. Since you're on this board aren't you running with the "wrong crowd" (can one even run with the wrong crowd online? Where do they go? Do they stand out in front of the MAD board heckling? Do they get picked up for loitering too long on message boards? ;)
