Your post is rich considering that it is you who selected a single verse to support the false idea of earned grace and thus ignored the whole passage which is talking about something completely different.

I agree that the Bible does not teach in any way the idea of "earned grace" (how could it since the term is an oxymoron?)...but that is certainly what Mormonism does within its theology as you have clearly demonstrated in posts within this thread.

You continue to emphasize your cherry picking with your allusion to Paul in Philippians, as a reading of the complete chapter spells out clearly that he is talking about the process of living in Christ and being made over in his image, the essence of the Christian life. Paul's salvation is made perfect by grace through his faith as he clearly proclaims in countless other places in his writings. From the moment Paul encountered Christ on the road to Damascus and in faith accepted him he was saved and assured of a place with the father....yet he was merely a babe in his Christian life and the rest of his life was lived as a process of becoming more like his Savior...being made over in Christ's image. When a person receives Christ, they receive a fullness of God's grace.
