That is great news. Now show me something that known to be older than 2 million years old that is verified by radiometric decay dating. Then show me something that is known to be 500 million years old and verified by radiometric dating.

The manner of verification you propose is referred to as calibration and has been used to verify C14 dating using varves and tree ring genealogies, three separate genealogies in fact, that all verify that radiometric dating works. Our understanding of the decay process matches reality which verifies the math and physics involved.

Plainness in speaking about truth is only allowed now. Before this truth had to be given in a manner that would not interfere with the free will of the people who listened to the prophets.

Mat_13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Mar_4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

These are the rules as laid out in Eze 14. People who come to the prophet with idols in their heart are given the idols in their heart. Truth could only be given in symbolic form until recently. Then the heavens opened and truth poured out for those who could hear.

Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Dan 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
Dan 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Those things sealed in the scriptures have been opened. But you desire science and not to know the mysteries of God. So to you they are foolishness.

1Co_2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co_3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

Really, and just what kind of dates are we talking about? If the earth is 4.5 billion years old what percentage has been verified?

As a guess let us say 1 million years verified. So 1 in 4500 or 2.22 x 10^-4 or .000222 or .02 percent. Impressed I am not.

Is there more?

Could you explain this a little more? Not sure what you are getting at.

If you are guessing doesn't that mean you have no idea what the science is and how it works, which in turn means you have no idea about how reliable those dates are?

A much smaller percentage than that of the world's ocean waters has ever actually been physically tested for salinity. Is it therefore unreasonable to conclude that the entire ocean consists of salty water? The point still remains that whenever we have found a way of independently verifying ages determined by radiometric dating, it has been verified.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Franktalk thinks that all radiometric dating systems need to be calibrated against objects of known age in the same way it is done for C14 dating with tree rings otherwise they are not valid.

The problem I see with that line of argument is that it is very far from established beyond reasonable doubt that there are any precepts or truth claims of any kind, whether true or false, that are not of this world and not products of human thought and/or observation. Furthermore, none of these precepts or truth claims have been proven more unreliable or more likely to be false than those that can only be justified by invoking the claim of divine guidance or special spiritual insight.
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

If this is really a reliable way to perceive truth, how do explain the fact that there are so many contradictory perceptions of truth perceived in this way? Is it because all those whose perceived truth disagrees with yours have not truly chosen to "see truth using their mind?" What credible justification can you possibly have for concluding that your attempt to see using your mind is any more reliable than that of anyone else whose perception of truth perceived in this way conflicts with yours?

I offer no proof. I can tell you that very few people can cast aside this world before they ponder truth on an inward journey. This whole place is designed to deceive us. It is designed to make us believe this is real and nothing else exist. If someone were to be held in a virtual reality simulation their whole life they would also be fooled into thinking their world was real. There is no difference. If you can comprehend the virtual world then just expand your mind and allow for the possibility that this world is also created for avatars. It just happens that our avatars are real matter.

I see no essential difference between that and pure solipsism. I am not favorably impressed in the slightest. Casting aside this world before pondering truth is the surest way to fall into and perpetuate error.

This is hilarious. I thought you said you were above religion as well as science. I've always known you were just a Biblethumper pretending not to be. You're no more rational than little Nipper, just more pretentious.

Frank keeps talking about evidence but offers none. He instead offers arguments. Arguments are not evidence.
