Book of Mormon corruption?

The Book of Mormon should have been spared corruption from any apostasy as it was allegedly buried for 1,406 years. Therefore we should expect it to contain pure Christian doctrine. However the Book of Mormon mostly echoes the teachings in the Bible.
Concerning this record the Prophet Joseph Smith said: “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth..." and yet, the Book of Mormon is silent on the peculiar doctrines that separate Mormonism from Christianity, including:
1. Aaronic priesthood
2. Baptisms for the dead
3. Celestial marriage
4. Church organization
5. Exaltation
6. Polytheism
7. Three heavens
If anything, this claim that the Book of Mormon is so "correct" would indicate that the Bible is too.
LDS scripture contradicts the notion that Christianity suffered a complete apostasy.
In the Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi 28 says that three disciples would not die so they could preach the gospel until the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Doctrine and Covenants, Section 7 says that the Apostle John would not die so he could preach the gospel until the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Conclusion:
Jesus Christ made several promises that give us assurance that an apostasy never took place.
