A Mormon University has banned 'skinny jeans' from its students public attire.
Students at Brigham Young University in Idaho recently were informed the tight-fitting pants were not acceptable on campus.
In a sign posted to students outside the school's Testing Center it read loud and clear: no skinny jeans.
'Some girls wear skinny jeans that are just too skinny,' Rachel Taylor, a BYU-Idaho student explained to her school paper the Student Review, 'so they ask us not to wear them.'
Ms Taylor says she knows of at least one student who had been asked to leave the testing center because of that style of jeans.
'Skinny jeans are really form-fitting, like jeggings, which are technically leggings,' she explained. 'They show a lot of curves.'
BYU-Idaho, a conservative university of arguably one of the most conservative religions in the U.S., the Mormon school imposes a dress code on its students ordinarily banning clothes that are '...sleeveless, strapless, backless, or revealing. It should not have slits above the knee or be formfitting,' according to an email sent by Kevin Miyasaki on behalf of University Vice President Henry J. Eyring to Gawker.

OTHER Mormon BANNED SUBSTANCES AND WAYS?
More than one earring on each ear:
Mormon women were told in 2000 by the prophet Gordon B. Hinckley not to wear more than one earring in each ear as 'one modest pair of earrings' is sufficient.
Coffee and tea:

Banned: Coffee, having higher levels of caffeine, is banned by Mormon followers because of its possible harms to health
The beverages of coffee and tea are banned by Mormon consumption because of their typically high amounts of caffeine which is viewed as harmful to the body
Tobacco and alcohol:
Because alcohol and tobacco also harm the body and can also be addictive, they are prohibited by the religion
Outside members at weddings:
Family members are excluded from Mormon temple weddings if they are not Mormons or if they are deemed 'unworthy' Mormons
Sex before marriage:
Because sexual intimacy is so sacred, the Lord requires self-control and purity before marriage, as well as full fidelity after marriage,' according to current Mormon President Thomas S. Monson
Trans-gender costumes:
This rule is not listed in the Book of Mormon, but according to a children's 'Trunk or Treat' party in Sandy Utah last October. Masks are, however, banned.
Long hair and facial hair:
Men are expected to be clean-shaven with beards not absolutely forbidden, but also not acceptable. According to Standards of Dress and Grooming, 'Persons who wear beards or long hair, whether they desire it or not, may identify themselves with or emulate and honor the drug culture or the extreme practices of those who have made slovenly appearance a badge of protest and dissent.'
