Hey Molok
That sounds like a Burger King order.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to you too! :)
Happy?
Peace,
Ceeboo

Perhaps my OP was a little fuzzy? We can talk about whatever you wish. I was simply and only asking if all the recent atheism back-slapping threads and Christmas fast approaching was coincidence?
Anyway, did you want to offer an opinion on this proposed coincidence?
Or?
I don't see more "back-slapping" than normal. Perhaps you could define it for me and give examples. I don't expect you to count instances today against last week or anything.
I also don't see why it would be coincidental with Christmas, since christians do not own it and many atheists celebrate it.
You could start a christian back-slapping thread if ya want.
I think I would need a few Christian hands available to do the slapping of the back, no? :)
Peace,
Ceeboo
There are more than a handful of christians on the board, my friend. As a matter of fact, I am dialoguing with a couple of them in my "contradictions" thread. I imagine you'll be shocked that I've been agreeing with them!

considering the atheist preference for always being behind...back slapping seems appropriate.

Re: Coincidence?
Hey again, JM
OK.
I do, thus the reason why I authored this thread. (I actually thought I hit a wrong button when logging on to the MDB and ended up at an atheist back-slapping convention.) :)
Nor do/did I, thus the questions in the OP.
Yes, I realize that Christians don't own Christmas. (I don't think I suggested they did. Did I?)
Yes, I realize that many atheists celebrate Christmas as well. (I don't think I suggested they don't. Did I?)
Yes, there are a few. It's just hard to find them among the mounds of atheists here. :)
You talk to Christians? :)
Not at all.
I am usually shocked when MDB members don't agree with Christians.
Peace and Merry Christmas,

So, you cannot give me any examples? None at all? I am not convinced.
I am at a loss as to what your point was, exactly. Was it a joke thread and I took it too seriously? That happens sometimes.
Happy Yule!

Re: Coincidence?
Hey again, JM.
I wasn't trying to convince you of anything, JM. I was asking (if anyone happened to agree with me about the recent plethora of atheist back slapping that is all over the MDB of late) if they thought it was a Christmas coincidence? Or something else? (Please note the use of the question marks) :)
Huh?
I didn't/don't have a point with the OP. I had a question.
If you don't agree with me about the recent atheism back slapping (no problem, friend) then you probably can't answer the question.
Merry Christmas!
Peace,

Obviously the question was born from somewhere. I was trying to get more data. That's fine. Don't share. I can't answer your question.

Back to your OP, Ceeboo. I guess that the Christmas season does bring up atheist conversations. Personally, I have always loved Christmas (regardless of my beliefs). The tree is up and the lights are on my eaves. I am expecting Santa (who ever that turns out to be).
No snow here (there never is), but it is raining cats and dogs and they say big snowfalls in the mountains tonight.
In case you missed it in my earlier posts, please have a fantastic Christmas!
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Re: Coincidence?
Hey Quasi
Huh? (Interesting)
Maybe it is just that simple?
Yea, me too! :)
In addition to my personal belief, I love many, many things about Christmas.
I share your expectation of Santa (New clubs.....PLEASE)
I will!
Merry Christmas to you too, friend. :)
