You are the one that cares about proof. I'm just sitting here talking and not caring, and knowing that your demands do not create any kind of emergency or stress on my part.
Then you claim is as empty, vapid and worthless as any other claim from anyone on the planet claiming to know and speak about the will of god.

If that's how you see it, great. Then you can be a telepathically and psychokinetically pudgy guy.

That which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

It's not my place to provide that kind of proof to you either. The way was explained in the scriptures to you when you read them. If God is not proving it to you in some more discernible way, it is something along the same lines as the prime directive, that he will allow your own will to allow you to gravitate to whatever it is that you truly value.
God's not proving it to you by your own admission of Claiming God would not do so. I've read the scriptures and had a lot to go on. One thing is clear and that is the members have no idea either. The only method from the church is if the thoughts and feelings feel good and support what we say then it is from God.
You could get the most out of life by making the sacrifices to take that type of thing seriously, namely, to choose to believe in spite of the delusion that your new epistemology has brought upon your mind.
Ah, the problem of God thinking people should guess which beliefs are the right one so he can punish and reward based on random chance. Nice
That was your choice, and you had to be placed in a situation to be able to make that choice. It wouldn't be fair otherwise
But you want to use the excuse maybe some members like myself are not really getting good communication from God. You should pick a point and stick with it. If it's not enough to know who is communicating then the choice is just guessing. You like to avoid the problem of why people should be rewarded or punished by guessing the right or wrong answer.

Really? I don't see anything forcing it to be my problem. When I go home tonight, I won't be consumed with this issue, but I'll be watching some show on CuriosityStream that is productive use of my time. I don't see it being something that consumes me or causes me any kind of stress. So, how then is it my problem?
Just because you don't see the problem does not mean it doesn't exist.

Can you demonstrate that this telepathy is more accurate than say .... making choices based on rolling dice?
Again, that's silly. God won't be subjected to your petty test of his power. You can either accept it on his terms, or continue to reject it.
So if God won't prove he is communicating to you, why should we accept any terms? Especially since the terms are communicated to you through other people.

Consider that your definition of faith is wrong.
Faith isn't guessing. It's wanting, hoping, and making a plan based on the information you have.
It's the energy to try.

Why isn't that compatible with critical thinking?

So why shouldn't someone try Hinduism as apposed to Christianity?
