15. And when He had said these words, He Himself also knelt upon the earth; and behold He prayed unto the Father, and the things which He prayed cannot be written, and the multitude did bear record who heard Him.
16. And after this manner do they bear record: The eye hath never seen, neither hath the ear heard, before, so great and marvellous things as we saw and heard Jesus speak unto the Father;
17. And no tongue can speak, neither can there be written by any man, neither can the hearts of men conceive so great and marvellous things as we both saw and heard Jesus speak; and no one can conceive of the joy which filled our souls at the time we heard Him pray for us unto the Father.

Oh it's pretty easy to imagine what Mormon Jesus might have said. Simply more King James citations in which Joseph Smith ripped from the King James Bible in order to make his own gold Bible look proper and neat. King James Bible errors and imperfections are certainly found in Smith's plagiarized Book of Mormon. So many examples come to mind. All those bloopers in the Book of Mormon are somewhat humorous and easy to spot.
I love these bloopers from this Terrestrial thread:
"So, for the advancement of man from his present fallen and relatively degenerate state to the higher condition of spiritual life, a power above his own must cooperate. Through the operation of the laws obtaining in the higher kingdom man may be reached and lifted; himself he cannot save by his own unaided effort.k A Redeemer and Savior of mankind is beyond all question essential to the realization of the plan of the Eternal Father, “to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man”;l and that Redeemer and Savior is Jesus the Christ, beside whom there is and can be none other."
Which according to Elizabeth it means that Heavenly Father, a Man-god having a body of flesh and bone, cannot perform the most important job in existence which is to create babies out of his own womb and birth them.
This to me reads like a childlike fairy tale. This folks, is Mormonism.
And they demand 10% of your income, interest, and increase in order to fund a 100+ billion dollar stock account.
.."that we may comprehend all true principles for ourselves; then we will be easily governed thereby, we shall yield obedience with our eyes open, and it will be a pleasure for us to do so.” (Joseph F. Smith, John Dehlin 16:248, 7 October 1873)
.."that we may comprehend all true principles for ourselves; then we will be easily governed thereby, we shall yield obedience with our eyes open, and it will be a pleasure for us to do so.” (Joseph F. Smith, John Dehlin 16:248, 7 October 1873)
I find it curious that Elizabeth has attributed the above quote with Joseph F. Smith AND John Dehlin within parentheses. Why is she bringing up Dehlin?
Is this some kind of cut and paste blunder on her part?
