Hymns regarding the Biblical TRINITY

HOLY, HOLY, Holy ---- is one of my personal favorite hymns regarding the TRINITY. Oddly the Mormon Tabernacle Choir have recorded this hymn, but they have unashamedly adjusted the lyrics to suit their own doctrinal stance.

AND CAN IT BE ----- is yet another great CHRISTIAN hymn that very interestingly presents the TRINITY and each verse is sung.

“God in Three Persons, blessed Trinity” vs. “God in His glory, blessed Deity”
The Mormon church has changed other songs as well to suit their own purposes.
I get what you are saying and somewhat agree. The work is public domain and not protected by copyright so the Mormons can do as they will.

ETERNAL FATHER STRONG TO SAVE is a wonderful hymn demonstrating the various functions of each person of the TRINITY; yet, THEY are UNITED as ONE GOD.

One of my personal favorites too. I heard a coworker whistling Holy, Holy, Holy one day at work, and it just made my heart swell with thankfulness and praise. Holy, Holy, Holy and The Doxology were the two that I remember being sung on a regular basis growing up in church.

I was in the LDS church singing O Little town of Bethlehem when it hit me that the third verse is speaking of how, like in John 20:22, “Jesus breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit,’” how God gives us His spirit, and lives in us, through the Holy Spirit. Emmanuel, God with us. The Holy Spirit as a guarantee, guards the good deposit, and keeps us from stumbling, presents us before the father without blame.
Verse 3
How silently, how silently,
the wondrous gift is giv'n!
So God imparts to human hearts
the blessings of His heav'n.
No ear may hear His coming,
but in this world of sin,
where meek souls will receive Him still,
the dear Christ enters in.
This Christmas hymn has the triune God all over it, and is so rich with the gospel.
