That is also true and I don't believe I made any claims about authority based merely on the scriptures. Yet I still think that finding the scriptures within ceremonies, books, and so on can shed additional light on the both the scriptures (by letting me interpret it in a new way) and on the thing which quotes or alludes to the scriptures. I can even find the scriptures in various things I'm pretty sure aren't authoritative (like rock music).

Why? The temple endowment ceremony isn't in the scriptures. It's origins are not scriptorial.

You keep on questioning and attacking Harmony's "credentials," but I've been reading her for years on these boards and she's the kind of Mormon that has given the church as good a name as it has in society. You may not like her tone, but you can't discredit her so easily.
