mostly because I can't remember all the episodes

I warned you Bond, spend too much time hanging out in The Dudes "Cannibas Cabbana" playing video games and your memory would start to go.

I liked it. I even liked that it was so "low key" because that was unexpected.

But I'm too frazzled to write any more at the moment...

Thank your dead founder for all of the great humor found in the show Coggy boy!

Seriously, are there times when you just curse old humpin Joe? Of all the people you could defend, it had to be that horny dishonest bastard!

If your IQ ever gets out of the single digits (along with the public school grade your still trying to pass the final exam for), please let me know. I've got a big gold star and a lollipop here with your name on them.

Don't you mean: (along with the public school grade YOU'RE still trying...)

I don't make a habit of correcting spelling and grammar but you left that wide open for comments.

"Ervil LeBaron grimaced as he looked down at the body of his pregnant daughter in the trunk of his car. Rebecca's neck was chafed raw from the rope her killers had used to strangle her, and a stream of blood had dripped from her nose onto the mat under her head. He slammed the trunk shut.

The green-and-white Ford LTD was new, and it was the spiffiest car Ervil had ever owned. Not only had his daughter's blood soiled his precious car, it was also an indication of sloppy work by the murderers -- whom he'd contracted.

"That's inexcusable!" he roared at his goons. "It's just stupidity. We can't have any more of it."
Ervil LeBaron had his daughter killed because God told him to do it. God had told the fundamentalist Mormon to do a lot of peculiar things over the years, and Ervil always obeyed without question.

When the Almighty commanded him to "be fruitful and multiply," Ervil took 13 wives and sired over 50 children.
When God told Ervil to kill, he did that too. His followers slashed a bloody trail across Mexico and the American Southwest that left 25 to 30 people dead. Among the victims were Ervil's wives, his brother, former members of his church, leaders of rival polygamous clans, and his 17-year-old pregnant daughter Becky.

Even after Ervil LeBaron died in a jail cell in 1981, the violence didn't stop. He left behind a long hit list, and his children picked up his bloody mantle, hunting down their father's enemies far and wide and eliminating them.
To this day, former members of the LeBaron cult whose names are on that list are still in hiding."

I love the crime library. A few months ago I discovered it and spent weeks reading about cannibals and wackos.

Monkeys! I'm so glad to hear of somebody else who can confess to these things. I had the same experience with crime library & some other sites. I was a "little" obsessed for a few weeks![/img]

Not to derail the thread, but this is what is known as an Apostate. It is not a members right to change the church.

And that is Apostate with a Capital A and don't you forget it!!

I apologize for falling out of the Big Love season 2 discussion for so long. I watched the first four episodes and then had to cancel my HBO for financial reasons. I moved to a new apartment and the cable dude hooked me up with HBO for $4.99 a month for a year. I just finished watching all the rest of the Season 2 episodes on On Demand last night.

Bond...James Bond wrote:I think the main problem is that this season peaked storywise too early. If the season had ended with the Roman being shot cliffhanger.....it rules. But as it is.....not nearly as good as last year's finale or some of the best episodes of Season 2.

I agree, Bond. It feels like they ended season 2 in a way to make it seem like everything is resolved (with the exception of Alby taking over Juniper Creek) in case they don't get picked up for season 3. This would make sense, given what has happened to other HBO series in the recent past (i.e. Deadwood, Carnivale, Rome, etc.). All in all, I enjoyed season 2, but not as much as season one. Bill is an ass and I wish that the season would have ended with Barb leaving him or something.
