Trick to Help Avoid the Link Issue with MAD

I would strongly advise against using this "trick" just to get around MAD. Disabling your referrer settings will likely cause errors and problems for you on other websites.
I would recommend just clicking on the link to MAD and let it give you the error. Then go up to the address bar, click on it, and hit Enter (or the Go button)
The browser sends the request as a fresh URL, and not a link with a referrer. The page will load just fine.

It's only caused one error for me on one website in the year+ that I've had it configured this way. Plus, websites in general don't need to know where I come from - I'm not their marketing study monkey.

Agreed. I think it's more of a problem with Explorer than Firefox.
