I genuinely do wish to improve. So, if you could provide me with examples where you believe I personally attacked the critics on the other board, I would appreciate it.
Thanks, -Wade Englund-
Wait a second... Let me see if I've got this straight. You want to 'improve' your penchant for attacking critics, but *only* on the other board? If you'd like someone to supply instances of your boorish, rude, nasty, subhuman behavior on THIS board, I'm sure we could do it without much difficulty.
While not exactly in line with the context of my query, if you feel it will be of help to provide some examples from here of things I still have need to improve on, then by all means, knock yourself out. ;-)
Thanks, -Wade Englund-
Nice try, Wade. I hardly think you are going to be able to gloss over your standard-issue condescension and nastiness so easily, however, my old friend. It's transparently obvious that your "query" was really just aimed at attacking/smearing/knocking down mms. Pull your head out already, man. Or shall I repost some choice selections from your old "Center for Same-Sex Attraction Disorders" website?
I am not sure how this satisfies your prior offer, but I suppose that in its own way it has been of some help. ;-)

I should say that from what I have seen at MA&D in the last month or so (my only observance of Wade), Wade seems to make very articulate and painfully detailed efforts to help people get to the crux of the issues. He seems quite patient when people are not quite "getting" where he is going, and it has often crossed my mind that he is of great value to the discussion because of his use of logic and his apparent education in dispute resolution techniques. So I see his efforts as not only well intentioned, but quite valuable and I hope he continues to try to move the discussions along. Just the way I see it, but apparently you all have a history together and I cannot comment on that.

This means a great deal to me, and gives me all the more motivation to continually strive to live up to what you have said about me.
I do, however, have a bit of history here--though I suspect that I will remember it quite differently than some. And, while I am intent on moving forward myself, I think it only fair to have patience and empathy for those who may prefer to dwell a bit in the past. ;-)

Indeed, with a past like yours, moving forward is definitely in your best interest. And as quickly as possible. However, if true repentence and the potential for the most effective self-actualization is what you have in mind, then perhaps spending a bit more time in the past would be helpful, even salutary. Indeed, in order to repent of ones transgressions, one must first admit that one transgressed. Without that first step, repentence is indeed impossible.

Boy, you have no idea. If you'd like, you can read about Wade on my blog. He is quite a character. His "patience" is really little more than the latest incarnation of his various Mopologetic personae.
I genuinely do wish to improve. So, if you could provide me with examples where you believe I personally attacked the critics on the other board, I would appreciate it.

Hmm, let me start...AHEM.
Posession of CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS would be a start, get rid of your homophobic self loathing too.
And crawling on the planet's face Some insects called the human race Lost in time And lost in space...and meaning

I think Wade has come a long way (and so have I). When I first started on this board, my interaction with Wade had consisted of seeing his "mirroring" techniques in action, wherein it seemed to me that he was reading my posts and other people's posts in the worst possible light and then returning the favor by throwing nastiness at us. I remember sending him a PM that first day, asking why he was making it so personal, and he responded that I made it personal first. I was completely baffled, but given what I had seen from Wade on the MAD board, I just chalked him up as one of the nasty apologists. Things escalated to the point at which Wade called me intransigent and incapable of change, and I basically told him to do something anatomically impossible to himself.
We've both come a long way. I know I have room for improvement, but I'm willing to give Wade the benefit of the doubt, though occasionally he does revert to earlier form (I'm still waiting for him to apologize for some of the hateful things he said to KimberlyAnn).

I agree with Runtu on his assessment of Wade.
Wade and I had a massive falling out that started on Kevin's board and continued here.
We were actually able to communicate much better via PM and "kissed and made up".
I believe that Wade's intentions are honorable for the most part, but that sometimes he doesn't communicate well.
