I can virtually guarantee that he's staying away because he fears getting his butt kicked yet again. If he shows up, he knows that I and others will take him to task for his grudge campaign against D. Michael Quinn, or his bogus citation of the quite possibly non-existent "2nd Watson Letter," or his sloppy citations, or his RfM archive, or his lies about the "consensus" on use of the word "Magic," among many other things.

Hi Mister Scratch: you are the one that I had in mind when it came to sparring with DCP. Other's here can do some real damage too. The FAIR gym does not want you boxing with him because they are afraid he will get hurt and they will lose their investment. I think your thoughts would be "bring it" if DCP were to show up here.

There's an image LOL....Hamblin and DCP dancing the Mamushka. Do you think they'd substitute obsidian blades for the regular metal swords?
Obsidian from the Clovis period no doubt. When it is a particularly well reviewed publication, I imagine that a herd of tapirs pulling a chariot and displaying a banner of "a job well done, my good and faithful servants" appears. Perhaps some dancing Lamanitas too.
thestyleguy wrote:one more thing is that the Mods at MA&D choose who DCP spars with and anyone that is a real challenger is banned. If you can do real damage to his thoughts you are gone. If you are an amateur light-weight and come in to spar (discuss), they just smile and say - welcome :) They taunt the person who takes a beating and laugh when it is done. One would ask where their ethics or morals are or even if they exist.
Well, much as I dislike the thought of being a "lightweight," I think you're essentially correct here.
I've never gotten any flack for sparring with DCP.
