I agree with this. The fact that we are enforced to do good, moral things constantly, means it is on our minds constantly and thus we are more likely to commit a sin than to not commit a sin. We are unconscously fed with immoral things via the words, the design and the archetecture of the church and buildings thereof. I believe I once said somewhere, that I would not have known as much as I do if the church had not told us these things are wrong.

I don't know what either of you are saying but it reminded me that I had no idea what masturbation was until I started getting asked in interviews if I was doing it. That is how I came to find out what it was and how a woman would go about doing it.
I would call the police if a grown man was asking my 14 year old if she masturbated. Indeed.

Insert ironic quote from fellow board member here.

Haha! I had a similar experience in that I was under the assumption that masturbation was by definition a male activity until I heard my Bishop going on about it at what I had thought was just a sleep over organized by his daughter (turned out it was some kind of sleath fireside or "standard's night"). I had no idea that women could do it too.

As opposed to suggesting that it would be better that the kids be dead than give up their sacred virginity?

Imagine, if you will, a totally clueless, yet highly intelligent, 17 year old girl, who knew nothing about masturbation (the subject never came up in my household... I held to the don't ask/don't tell school of thought... and I taught them all to do their own laundry). Now imagine her conversation with her 18 year old boyfriend about masturbation...while the poor kid was trying to eat his Wheaties, in his momma's pristine white living room. Now imagine me falling off my chair with laughter in the restaurant where said 17 year old repeated her conversation. I never could look at the boyfriend without laughing after that.
