Just a small note. The Jesus of the Middle East would look like MesoAmericans. Olive complexion, black hair, etc.

People keep on forgetting that Jesus, if he existed and is not a chimera of different peoples and gods of the day, looked far more like the Palestinian he was than Thor.

You guys still can't get it right. "Scholarly" journals don't take much to stories of visions and angels.

Oh no, we get that. But you can take away the visions and angels from the Book of Mormon and you're still left with real tangible people in real tangible places. The Bible, for example, is filled with visions and angels and talking asses that most scholarly types don't believe. But the Bible also mentions real peopel and real places which can be found today. For some reason the tangible people and places of the Book of Mormon disappeared along with the angels and visions. Maybe when Moroni took back the gold plates, he took back the rest of the physical evidence too.

Actually they do. The American Psycological Association, http://www.apa.org/ , and the American Pyschiatric Association, http://www.psych.org/disasterpsych/links/weblinks.cfm , deal with that all the time.
