Charity's comments concerning Financial Transparency

How does financial disclosure open the door to destroying the religion? Why was this law enacted. It really depends of your contribution to this institution; ie if you are stupid enough not to ask an accounting.
Charity, Have you ever asked for an accounting of the money you give? Where it went, how much was spent and what is the overall structure of debts and assets your ten percent has contributed to? Have you ever honestly made an accounting? [/quote]
No. Why should I? I trust the leaders to be using the money in valuable ways. I see where money is being spent--building and maintaining the ward I attend, supporting some people who need welfare help, building and supporting the temple I attend, supporting BYU which 4 of my children attended, supporting the missionary program where my grandson is now happily serving, providing humanitarian aid. I am sure there are others. Why should I demand to see dry pages of figures when I see the living results?

Where are Charity's comments? I see a question from Scottie, "How does financial disclosure open the door to destroying the religion? Why was this law enacted?"
Then I see solomarineris answer. Did I miss something?
My responses on Scottie's thread were #3 and #5. I didn't see any other posts to respond to and not be redundant.
