You have to remember that, according to charity, something is not an insult if it is TRUE. And since this is all subjective, she must mean that if the person making the accusation believes the charge to be TRUE, it doesn't count as an insult.

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Meh, just put Juliann on ignore. I did it like day 3 after I started posting there. I have difficulty stomaching people who invent lies about me from whole cloth, and ignoring them is much easier than addressing the misrepresentation to have them dodge it and leave me looking guilty.
Particular issue in question: two years ago she accused me of creating sock-puppet accounts and posting advertisements repeatedly on the site. I'd done no such thing, and told her this in a private message. Then she got a moderator on my case for sending her a private message. I hate dealing with passive-aggressive people, so I figured out "ignore" a couple of days later.
I do wish I'd found a similar function here. If anyone can point one out, I'd be obliged!

Here we just use the mouse to skip right over what we don't want to read.
Juliann doesn't have to go looking for a moderator. Juliann is The Moderator. She supposedly owns the site, so it doesn't get much higher on the food chain than that.

Sorry man. No ignore functions here. The argument put forth by management is that they would go against the free speech/no censorship foundation of the board. Sorry. :(

Perhaps an emoticon like this would help:
