Zak, what in the HECK are you going on about on MAD? You recently threw up evidence about the olmec iron mirrors which has been known about for a VERY LONG TIME and which I discussed on my website, as if that meant something in regards to Book of Mormon evidence. Then when John pointed out to you that the Olmec mirrors do not constitute any sort of evidence for the Book of Mormon, you suddenly start talking about the Moche.

Do you even understand who the Moche were and where they lived??? Your citations mention it, but I really wonder if you understand what you're quoting, or even READ all of what you quote.

And what in the name of all that is sane does THIS mean???

It's just bizarre. For everything he says that collapses, he just says, "Well, what about ..." and then goes somewhere else completely, whether it's Afrocentrism or Atlantis or whatever. I think I've gotten all the entertainment value out of his stuff that I'm going to get. What's really funny is his gloating when he thinks he's got a "winner." Nothing he says pans out, ever.

In spite of what some apologists think, historians, archaeologists, and Mesoamerican experts are not really stupid. :-)

Maybe it would be a good idea to read some of the accepted scholarly work so you get a taste of what scientists and experts know?

While of course there is more to learn and everything has not been discovered, there is a very clear Mayan story that makes sense and is supported with evidence. There has been enormous amount of work, excavations, research, and discoveries in Mesoamerica, and really quite a bit is known.

I'm just thinking reading some of the latest research and learning about scientific evidence relating to Mesoamerica may give you a sense of what is going on in the field.
