I don't accept or agree with all of BC's beliefs on the matter, but contrary to what you suggest, I have been able to make sense of it.
But, perhaps that is because I was open-minded and willing to respectfully listen and understand his differing point of view (whether I agree with it or not), rather than being intent on summarily or intolerantly dismissing it because it doesn't comport entirely with my world view. In short, I have attempted to avoid inadvertantly exemplifying the the topic of this thread--I.e. "ultimate prejudice". ;-)
THanks, -Wade Englund-
Great news! Perhaps you can summarize his point of view so the rest of us can make sense of it?
I doubt that I can improve on what he has said and how he has said it, and I prefer to let him speak and answer for himself.
Besides, since I am not the brightest star in the firmament, I trust that you, more so than me, will be able to make sense of his belief, that is if you are open-minded and intent on respectfully understanding what he has said (whether you end up agree with him or not).
If there are things you don't quite understand, may I suggest asking questions intended to invoke personal enlightenment, rather than ridicule (as some have done at points on this thread).

My theory entails (among other things)......
1. A differentiation between a creative state in which death can occur and a state of no death (the created world) before the Fall.
(2 Nephi 2:22)
2. Adam's physical body comming about by evolution.
3. I tend to think that his spirit was placed in his body at conception/birth, whenever the spirit enters the body.
4. #3 above signifies the end of the creative state and the beginning of the finished or created state. Adam is the first man in the created world (the scriptural context) and is placed in the garden in a state of no death.
5. The Fall brings death into the created world (or the garden depending on the scope of the Fall). Evolution continues apace.
