I think it is pretty clearcut in this case. Utah=Mormons, so Utah=lower electric bills == Mormons=lower electric bills.

UT = Mormons? I'm sure that will be a surprise to the other 30-35% of the people who live there but aren't Mormons.

And no, your math needs work. Just like you don't want higher bankruptcy rates to be tied to Mormons, or higher teen suicide rates to be tied to Mormons, or higher depression drug use to be tied to the Mormons, lower utility rates have nothing to do with religion.
