You kidding? My 5 year old has been known to do that without any knowledge of the Old Testament whatsoever (well, minus the knocking me unconscious part, but just barely).

But wait until your five year old comes into with a revelation written in crayon saying the issue has been decided by a higher authority; in fact, an angle appeared with a flaming snickers bar and gave a big warning that unless there is submission that the snickers bar will have to be eaten.

I wouldn't teach my daughter about the Old Testament for the same reason (among others) I wouldn't read her anything by Stephen King.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
