Because you're willing to give Joseph Smith as many "get out of jail free" cards as he needs. You know, the sort of "get out of jail free" cards that you would never dream of giving to Warren Jeffs, L. Ron Hubbard, Jim Jones, David Koresh, or Marshall Applewhite.
I, on the other hand, am consistent: I don't give free passes to any religious leader, including my own.
What do you think you have that would shake my faith?
It's not a question of getting you to shake your faith. It's a question of getting you to consider why, exactly, Joseph Smith, Jr. gets free passes from you even though no other religious guru does.
Why is that, anyway?
In other words, Shades' testimony is a very weak argument.
No, my "testimony" isn't an argument at all. It simply is what it is.
What does all this have to do with I Nephi 12:18, anyway? It's like you copied-&-pasted a random line from my website for no reason whatsoever.
