Bish: Hi Brother, how are things going?
Member: Uh well, I seem to have misplaced my testimony...
Bish: Misplaced?
Member: Yes, or perhaps you could say I may have lost it..
Bish: LOST IT?!?!?!? WHERE????
Member: I am not sure.. a book, a website, a message board, logic..
Bish: Where???
Member: Perhaps it fell off while I was wondering the great information whore of the earth... GOOOOGLE

On yonder RfM board, a several posters who are spies for the exmo underground movement are reporting a top down message over the loss of testimonies currently being disseminated over the wards and branches..

Sweet mother of Google!!! This makes my sooooo happy! Our efforts of sharing the gospel truth is working!

I was asked to give a talk in Sacrament Meeting. I was told by the bishopric that the topic was strengthening testimonies. I was told "we have been told that people in the church are losing their testimonies so the church is focussing on this issue." I will give a nice talk, but not on that topic.

Sounds to me like your 'spy' has been found out as the topic often is meant more for the giver...... lol

I couldn't care less about your subjective observations. The cold hard fact is that LDS Inc is losing money.

In case you have not noticed, I revel in Mormon loss.

Obviously you care enough to respond to them.

The cold hard fact is that LDS Inc is losing money.

The Corporation does indeed give away lots of money.

In case you have not noticed, I revel in Mormon loss.

And I revel in you fulfilling your role in the parable of the Sower. The Church does not grow without opposition. So if you say the Church is not growing, then you admit you are not doing your job very well.

I have seen no top down word on any such concern. But I think there is always a general concern over such things and always had been.

Nothing over the pulpit in my ward. But maybe my new bishop doesn't know what to do with it yet.
