Smac is showing his extremism in this case. I bet Smac thinks male swimmers at BYU pools (who show far much more skin than the guys in the calendar, as well as the "bumps" (per Sister Bednar's reference some years ago) under the swimsuit). What a nut.

His reported claim: He was asked to stop the calendar and refused. He replied that it was like asking the Marriot's to stop allowing pornography in their hotels. Whether he said that in the meeting or remembered to say it afterwards, he does have a good point there imho (assuming the Marriot's who are in control of the chain are indeed LDS).
I think this excommunication demonstrates how money talks in the LDS church.
They search out an inactive (for six years) member who is making a small profit on a calendar that shows some guys with their shirts off... nothing pornographic, nothing against the rules, nothing one wouldn't see at their neighborhood pool, to X him. What in the world is the purpose of this?
Yet, prominent member Marriott whose company is probably one of the biggest displayers of porn in our country gets a free pass....
It is all so weird.
